Celebrating with friends, nurturing family and creating traditional Italian-style wines are all ingredients in the creation of Bertagna Son Kissed Vineyards. It all began in 2001 when Berton and Carol Bertagna decided to combine their love of agriculture with their passion for wine. Together, they planted their first vineyards in the front yard of their Hegan Lane home. As their family grew so did the vines. In 2007, under the shady canopy of the willow tree, Bertagna Son Kissed Vineyards was created. Carol and Berton’s boys were the inspiration behind the label and continue to grow roots at this family run winery.
Every component of the winemaking process is centered on creating a sustainable product that will endure for generations to come. Our grapes are meticulously maintained and grown right here in Butte County. Berton Bertagna along with winemaker Connor Vaccaro manages the crush, fermentation, bottling, barreling and labeling of each wine. From the vineyards to the tasting room, every bottle truly embodies a locally crafted, artisan product.
Bertagna Son Kissed Vineyards is now accessible year round!
